Well i dont know what's wrong with my ePSXe now but all i get is cracking sound with all sound plugins. Only 1 plugin works ePSXe SPU Core ... and it's so low quality. So what gives? Why i cant get decet sound out from ePSXe ?

ePSXe 1.7.0
And i got Realtek AC 97 smth...

Eternal SPU Plugin 1.41 is the only one what doesn't crack but it slows game down and sound is like in "slow motion".

Wierd thing is the plugins used to work fine... Now all off sudden they just dont work :S. Goddammit i wanna play some PSX games:S.


Please help me guys out fast. I dont want to format my PC :S.

what games? crackling sound is usually fixed by increasing the buffer size. as for the settings with eternal, when i use it with 1.5.2 or 1.6.0 i usually keep all 3 fixes enabled and i have the audio-out set to thread.

If i mess with buffer it doesnt work, sounds are still messed up...

try setting the audio out method to thread or SPUasync and enable the game fixes if needed.

Problem solved!

I changed the Graphics plugin and voila! Great quality sound!
