Please help...
I have a sony Vaio laptop pcg-grz630 ... i have a p4 2.4 with 256 of ram....
mobility radeon 7500C...
my problem:
the emulator will run for a little while, then the speed will nearly split in half, then get super choppy (at like 30%)... ive tried all the options... none of them fix the stall.... while it is stalling, the task manager shows on the graph that the cpu is maxing out. any ideas?

also, im noticing that in some games, this error occurs even when the emulator is running at approx full speed (96-100%): when controlling your character, sometimes they'll get stuck in a certain direction for a few seconds... really ruins any sort of timing challenge :)

the computer is plugged in all the time, and i disabled the powersave... i was using direct draw... no filters are on... but the lag comes in and out.. really annoying bug.

Is your laptop plugged in or is it running off of batterys? if its running on batterys then it could be power saving slowing down your processor. Also, try checking if your using direct3d or openGL for rendering. The video card isnt very good, but it will help some.

Also, plz dont double post. Some ppl find it annoying,

Edit: also try turning off any filters your using. I cant tell if they are on from the bug report, but those can really slow down a computer
