I loaded a save game in Digmon World and it came out like this

It was much worse when I first loaded it and was in File City, but I took it to another place to see if it changed. Evidently that didn't work.

Has anyone experienced this problem before? And if yes, how do you fix it?
It is only this save game that appears corrupt like this.

thats not a corrupt save, its invalid gfx settings or your video card is sucking bad.

Actually, its not a corrupt state, sthe state just contains corrupt video data.

Save to the memory card and reload.

i was leaning towards it being caused by the settings but if it was working fine before i guess that can be ruled out.

I think they are up to date. According to the Microsoft website the last update was December and I got a new computer about then. I'll download it anyway and check.

try switching to another version of epsxe. you dont have FSAA or AF being globally forced by your catalyst control panel do you?

It was working perfectly up until yesterday. :(
I don't understand though, it's only this save file that seems to be corrupt. None of my other Digimon World save files appear like this.

So the corruption display happens even when using the Soft Plugin? Hmm...

Does it happen even if you try to start a new game? Or does it only happen when loading near that location with either memcard/savestate?

Try emptying the sstates folder of ePSXe. (Just move the content away)

a memory card save should restore fine, if its not, your doing something wrong.
