All other games seem to work just fine, but with Legacy of Kain: Blood Omen, it plays the opening game developer movies and gets to the start game, options etc screen and just sits there, no buttons I push do anything with Peops new version. With the new OpenGL plugin by Pete it gets that far and just plays the opening cinematic over and over when I push any buttons.

My system is:

AMD Athlon XP 2300+
1024mb RAM
Radeon 9600pro 256mb Vram

I think I read that somewhere and I did try pressing it with peops, not with the opengl. What exactly does F5 do in ePSXe?

It switches between digital and analog controller modes. Games that were made before the Dual Shock came out, such as Blood Omen, require that you have the controller in digital mode.

Thanks guys, F5 didnt seem to do anything but I will change the controller setting to Digital only, as I am using a Sidewinder Gamepad I dont need to worry about the analog sticks.

I'm not sure what burutter is used for, ever since I've been at these forums I think I've only seen one person using it :p. 99.9% of people use the DirectX rumble mode.

*DW's old man voice* Back in the old days we didn't have all these newfangled force feedback supported DirectX drivers or capable controllers. We had to use an early generation of PSX to USB convertors, and a fabulous plugin called Burutter coded by a great author by the name of Alex7.

Rumbling controllers made their initial start with the innovative FPSE PSX emulator. Alex7 then helped introduce the feature to ePSXe v1.2.0, released on 07.03.2001.
