Ok, here's the problem. After 10 long hours of finding a good emulator to run my old PSOne games I have lying around (which I couldn't play because of my PS2 not being able to read them.), I have run into a bit of a problem. The Emulator doesn't have a Control Pad plugin so I can use my PSX control (through my PSX USB Convertor). Any idea on any place I can find a control pad plugin to be able to use my controller?

If I understand you correctly, your problem is that none of the pad support (ePSXe) or pad plugins (other emulators) directly support your controller+adapter.

In that case, the solution is easy.

Go into the pad configuration for whatever emulator/plugin combo you're using and begin to program it. Except, where you would normally hit a keyboard key to do the controller function, press the button on the controller instead.

With the ePSXe pad support, if you have it set to digital/analog, you can program in the two analog sticks as well. Just click in the box and then wiggle the appropriate stick on your pad in the appropriate direction.

Well, I'm using PSXEven, and it only has one control pad function in it. And it doesn't read my controls when I try to set the control.

Go into the pad configuration for whatever emulator/plugin combo you're using and begin to program it. Except, where you would normally hit a keyboard key to do the controller function, press the button on the controller instead.
LoL, I'm not that silly. Its just not reading when I press the buttons on the control.

If you have a profiler running, that could be causing you problems. If so, kill it. And post more details about which emulators and plugins you're using, and also which USB adapter, please. The more I know, the better I can help.

I'm using the RadioShack adapter, and have no troubles with it. Works with every emulator and pad plugin I use.

I'm using the same one you're probably using then if you bought it from Radioshack. The control works with ePSXe emulator just fine, but PSXEven is the only one that plays the game at NORMAL speed. I even tried the normal thing to do to slow down the game on ePSXe.

Oh and another thing, in battle when I try to use an element the game locks up, but not completely, its just going at SUPER slowness.

My computers specs are....

2.0ghz
512 mb of ram
gforce 4 TI

This doesn't sound like a controller problem any more. That said, for the one game I need to use with PSXeven, I use the Harakiri 1.3 plugin with no problems.

Which game is "the" game? You never said.

Also, there is no "normal thing" to slow a game down for ePSXe that doesn't equally apply to every other emulator that uses PSEmuPro plugins. Namely, (in any emulator) you open the GPU plugin config page, turn on frame limitation, and set the limit either to auto or to 60 (50 for PAL region games).

im guessing you're playing Chrono Cross since you said "using an element in battle".

anyway, download the Harakiri plugin for PSXeven you should be smooth sailing. what drivers are you using for the GF4?

Or you can use epsxe version 1.5.2 I played through Chrono Cross with no problem what-so-ever with it.
