time_spanned_so, Just a friendly reminder, lets not forget about the FAQ. In there it states:
"How do I compile the CVS source?

We do not supprt cvs builds on this forum. Only official builds are permitted to be discussed. This is mainly to stop confusion, people 'handing out' betas, n00b questions when dealing with errors, as it's hard to keep track of multiple 0.x.x versions.

Besides, if you need to ask that question, then trust me, you don't want to be bothered. It's very very hard."

I am kind of interested in the project and i realy wanna help, If all things were easy where would all the fun be :D. Is there any way that i can find documentation about the source code or i realy must start examining the code and start gatheing informations about the ps2 structure.

And about the CVS i didn` ask how to build it because i have already done that. I just toke it to have the latest version and see what the current status of the project is.

time_spanned_so it's really nice that you want to help but there are some rules in this forum and one of them doesn't like "CVS" so if you want to talk about the source here, talk about the offical release that's Y i said pcsx2.net and not sourceforge.net

And if seeing the current status was any help, pcsx2 was finished a long time ago because A LOT OF dudes are seeing de current status of the project.

for a better understanding of ps2 you could start at ps2dev.org and if you got time and want to now how the CPU really works you can read the book See Mips Run by Morgan Kaufmann . also in ps2dev tutorials there is a lot of information about ps2 hardware(ee, iop and etc). and the source alone helps you too i think.
