I'm having a problem with using the Run-->Continue command on ePSXe v.1.4.0. Every time I play FF9 and hit Esc, and then attempt to Continue, the program crashes and I get an error message saying "Epsxe has caused an error in GPUPETEDX6D3D.DLL". Is there anything that can be done about this?

BIOS=scph1001
Video=Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.50 (I suspect this one is the problem)
Sound=ePSXe SPU core 1.4.0
CD-ROM=ePSXe CDR ASPI core 1.4.0

Do you have a Rage128? I had the same prob until I upgraded to Win2k:D
When you use the Windows Default Driver this will work fine. But it will be damn slow

The first thing i'd try is to update petes plugins to the latest versions (v1.52) available in the downloads section of www.psxemu.com . After that I'd try updating directX. After that I'd try using petes d3d plugin instead of petes d3d6 plugin. After that I wouldn't use the esc key (except to exit).

What are you trying to do that you need to press esc? If its to use savestates then use function keys instead:

f1 save
f2 change slot
f3 load

Hope that helps

The only reason I hit Esc, is so I can look at two things at once. That's the only real reason.
