I'm having a problem with using the Run-->Continue command on ePSXe v.1.4.0. Every time I play FF9 and hit Esc, and then attempt to Continue, the program crashes and I get an error message saying "Epsxe has caused an error in GPUPETEDX6D3D.DLL". Is there anything that can be done about this?

BIOS=scph1001
Video=Pete's DX6 D3D Driver 1.50 (I suspect this one is the problem)
Sound=ePSXe SPU core 1.4.0
CD-ROM=ePSXe CDR ASPI core 1.4.0

The first thing i'd try is to update petes plugins to the latest versions (v1.52) available in the downloads section of www.psxemu.com . After that I'd try updating directX. After that I'd try using petes d3d plugin instead of petes d3d6 plugin. After that I wouldn't use the esc key (except to exit).

What are you trying to do that you need to press esc? If its to use savestates then use function keys instead:

f1 save
f2 change slot
f3 load

Hope that helps
