Hi. First off, I'm kind of a newb, but I already read the documentation & searched through the forum, and I can't find any combination of settings to make epsxe work. The company's logos usually play through fine, then when it gets to what would be the menu screen, it's just black. I can still mess around with options or start a game, I just can't see what I'm doing. If I do manage to get a game started, the opening cinema plays fine, and then the game is, like the title screen, all black. If I turn off the frame limit in a few games, sometimes I can actually get to the game portion - but then it's way too fast, or freezes. I'm using P.E.Op.S. Soft Driver 1.17 for my video plugin, P.E.Op.S. DSound Audio Driver 1.7 for audio, and ePSXe CDR ASPI core 1.5.2 for my CD-R. I've got almost a 3gHz processor, but I have an Intel Extreme graphics card, which I've heard can make PSX emulation difficult. I don't know. I've tried quite a few different video plugins, and changed almost all of the settings in each. If anyone thinks they know what could be wrong, please reply - it'd be greatly appreciated.

This happens in all games?

Anyway you should switch to pete's video plugins, imo they're the best ones.

:thumb: I switched to Pete's video plugins but still the same thing, so I tried d/ling some games and images seem to play fine - so maybe it was just the games I was using to test it with. Either way, I've got it working now. Thanks for your help!

I guess you haven't read the [rules]rules[/rules] as you would know not to mention something like that here. This thread is now closed and a user note has been made on your record.
