Chrono Cross Unkown Opcode. help please

I'm having problems with Chrono Cross. At the beach, when Serge and Leena talk and someone calles his name, just before the following event occours ePSXe crashes with this message:

Opcode 3b UNK (PC 00000000) (166699,67)

I've tried every plugin i can think of, tried the .cht file that came with the emu, and used both game CD and ISO and it still crashes.

I sure hope someone can help me with this.......

try pressing F7, but I'm not sure it will help.

Yeah, I tried that. Didn't help. Since I know others have passed that point no problem, It's kind of baffling why it happens in my case. I was using gameshark codes..maybe that caused it??

it could be, or there's something wrong with the iso or cd...

Aha! I figured it out i think......
I started a new game without gameshark codes, and it worked no problem. I guess that was it then.

Iggy: Hmm...just wondering, where did you put your gameshark codes? ePSXe or another program?

Sorry for my late response.

I used ePSXe and that PEC cheater. Another thing is, I've used the same codes and now I can't recreate the problem. very odd, but its good it works!
