Hi Folks,
I think I have encountereda Soundsystem Bug in Chrono Cross.

I am using two different Plugins.
Either the internal one or Null 1.36
If I use Null , Movie Sounds are hacked and sound kinda choppy.
With the internal one everything sound fine at first, but then some background sounds keep staying, getting louder until only one loud tone is heard all the time.


Has anyone had the same Problem before?

I think it s the 1.35 , This plugin is known to have these issues w/ mdecs and the internal one is also known to have the midi note staying...

So, I suggest U to stay w/ the Null2 one and switch spu when a mdec is coming.
U can also try other spu like iori s one for example (Haven t tried it yet.)

But null2 is nearly perfect w/ the gameplay. I think that the mdecs aren t that important

I use Iori's Dsound 1.46 with Chrono Cross and it sounds better than the internal spu. I tried Pete's spu, internal and Iori is still the best one. Never tried Null's with Chrono Cross.
