kind of interesting here...
I went through my registry, and deleted the epsxe and epsxe cutor keys, then re-installed it. The vids ran fine. Then, while restarting, my computer crashed and did a scandisc. Now, same problem, choppy sound...
I noticed also, that when it was running fine, that my fps was constantly 60. Now it fluctuates from about 20-50 fps.
I tried deleting the reg keys again, but it had no effect...
please help.
something else interesting i just found out...
if i start moving around the mouse or holding a key on the keyboard, my fps stays around 67-60, and the sound works much better...
even more updated

this holding of a key on the keyboard also speeds up in game.
hah! you could try putting something heavy on a key to hold it down while you're playing a game. I don't have a real solution, sorry.
heh, I was really tempted to do that :)
That's probably the best answer anyone could come up with though, as I finally found what the problem is. It seems that a program called alogserv.exe in my mcaffee virus scanner directory is screwed up. This starts up when my computer starts with my virus scanner. I have no clue what it is, but it has given me problems before :(
If anyone familiar with mcaffee can tell me what it is, I'd appreciate it. Thanx.
sounds like a logging program, maybe logs all accesses to the registry or windows system....
alogserv.exe = Active log service (Not sure but thats my conclusion)
