I have heard that the FF7 PSX version characters have no mouths, whereas the PC versions characters do, correct?

Also, I really have a problem with FF7... I cannot get it to start, all I can do is get up to the 'New Game, Continue' screen, and then it freezes. Does anybody know how to get past this point if at all possible. (I am running ePSXe 1.0.1, and this is the PAL UK version).

It depends on the thing ure doing:
Example, if cloud is doing his omnyslash, you will note he has a mouth and during most of the battle u will do to. During the game itself, u see no mouths. Kinda strange but its like that.
About starting the game, just press F4 before getting to the new game screen, start a new game and press F4 again to deactivate-it. Oh, this will only work in 1.1, cause 1.2 has a bug w/ this, so just use epsxe 1.1, start the game, save the game, and unse the save in 1.2
