Why would you need that? All the PSX games I have have that information printed on the disc itself.

yep, just check the disc. mine say NTSC and U/C meaning NTSC (duh) and US/Canada. and my japanese game says NTSC J. pretty straightforward ;)

Games will have codes based on the region in the SXXX_###.## form on the disc. for example SCUS is from the United States, while SLUS is from Canada.

Open the disc in my computer and you will see a file with such a name.
