can't properly configure epsxe

Hello,
I was just hoping if someone can help me with the configuration of my epsxe. I ran the program with logs enabled so that I could see the dos messages.
It said

[D] ok
*NTSC cdrom detected
*Warning cdrom read mode unknown
*Doing init gpu[0]
*Direct input init ok
*Init core spu... ok
*Error reading cd:0,2,16
*Error reading cd:0,2,0

If anyone can Help I would really appreciate it. Sorry if there is already a thread on this topic. I spent a good while trying to find the answer on the forum and couldn't find it.

you need to get a different CD reading plugin. try Peops, Sapu's, or Xeven's. check off IOCTL SCSI reading, not win98 ASPI

will epsxe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2 work?

You know, the fastest way to get an answer is trying it. Anyway, yes, it should.

i'd say what I-Chan said, but...he already said it. so i'll go a different route, saying this: yes, it will, but not as well as the plugins i mentioned.
