after the CGI with Rinoa on the balcony once balamb garden is in the air, i can't seem to leave the balcony. the door won't budge no matter what i do. now i don't know whether this is a game glitch, emulator glitch, plugin glitch, whatever, so can anyone who's encountered similar problems help me?

this has been discussed a few times, it's a game glitch, it's hard but you can do it. you have to like a certain spot and press X, IIRC...

Just FYI, this problem also exists when you play the game on a Playstation. There is another area like this when you're on the screen with the presidential podium at the end of Disk 1 where leaving the area sometimes becomes very difficult.

yeah, like i already said, it's a game glitch... i never personally had this problem but a lot of other people did, so i assume it exists.

is there a cheat i can use to walk through doors?

i doubt it, because of how FF levels work...

you could post your memory card save and we (I?) could try it out for ya
