can't get Alone in the Dark to work

previous threads say that alone in the dark works in both vgs and epsxe when i tried it on my pc both of the emus can't get it to work, after i boot it up nothing happens just get a blank screen

specs:
pete'sOGL 1.5 on geforce256
null2's spu on sbLive!value
Athlon 750 w/ 160mb sdram
