Whenever I try to make this file... plugin tells me this "Please insert PSX CD"... that's all right... I will insert the Final Fantasy IX ORIGINAL cd into CD drive, then I'll press "OK".

Now plugin tells me that "Can't create out file"...

My plugin configuration is:
Interface: W2K/XP - IOCTL scsi commands
Drive: [0:1:0] Drive E
Ready mode (after Try autodetect): BC_2 (ATAPI SPEC 2)
Chaching mode: Smooth read ;)

Use additional chache: NOT checked
Limit speed: NOT checked
Don't wait until... : NOT checked
Try again on reading error: NOT checked
No PPF file loaded because I want to use SBI file or subchanel read "I hate PPF files because pirates have made them!!!"

I have checked "Read Subchanels..." but it won't work... but why?
When I select ePSXe CDR WNT/W2K core 1.5.2. and I check subchanel reading it WORK
Please... please help me solve this problem... I don't know what to do
I tried so many diferent configurations and I downloaded so many plugin "I think that I have all of them :D "
Can someone create SBI/M3S for Final Fantasy IX or tell me how to create them or how to run subchanel reading? :(

PS: I'm using ePSXe 1.6.0 ... I was playing on 1.5.2 but I thought that 1.6.0 will solve my problem... no result.

PPS: I'm from Czech republic so pardon me my english

just download a PPF file. they are made to help you out.

anyway, a much better plugin to use is Peops CDR plugin. use that an enable subchannel reading.

Use thread read if you are using ioctl scsi commands. Have you tested if the plugin is able to read the cd? Does it work with other games? Some cd units aren't able to read subchannels, you might want to google yours to see if it does. Another method is to create an iso of your disc using clonecd, and the convert the sub file to an m3s/sbi with peops.

if you create an ISO with the subchannel file you dont need to make the patch file. ePSXe reads the subchannel file and that's all you need.

Yes, you have the two options. You can either convert the file, delete de iso and play from the cd, or directly play from the iso, as hushy said.
