well, I do not know much of GBA emus, I only tried this, and I have to say that the road has just started, and there is too much to reach. is this emu the only one? if not, where can I get the other(s), do you know where?

There are more GBA emulator to test out then just VGA.. I personally used boycott Advanced and it is pretty fast using the direct draw option.. Very few people look at the main page eh.. Or just newbies..
