Can only run games from disc.

I'm only able to run games directly from the disc. I have tried making images of them, but have been unsuccessful in running them with Linuzappz 0.5 driver or even off a mounted drive with P.E.Op.S. 1.2. The only program I've been able to create a mountable image with is Alcohol120%. I read somewhere that I was supposed to select "Playstation 2" as the type, but that option disappears when I insert a PS2 disc.
Also, I read the guide, and I haven't managed to get a game to work with the "Open ELF File" option. When I select the SC??xxxxetc file (unique to each game), the window vanishes, but the PCSX2 is still running.
Thank you in advance for any help you can give.

PC - AthlonXP 2200+, 512MB RAM, Radeon 9800 Pro

Other settings - GSDX9 0.8, SSSPSX PAD 1.4, USBNull 0.4, tried both sound drivers, DEV9null 0.3, FWnull 0.4

If I left anything out, please let me know.

What type of images do you use?
Maybe you are using nero (.nrg) or other program that linuzappz driver doesn't support.
I recomend you DVDDecryter that makes good .iso images (but only for DVD's), I have tried it and it works with linuzapp driver.
Here is the link for the last version--->LINK
Only select mode->iso->read
ISO's made from ISO BUSTER WORKS FINE WITH Me
It works when using Linzuzapp plugin, CDVD BIn plugin and also it works when you load the ISO into a Virtual Drive with pete's plugin.

I have an opposite problem, I can only stand to load games from ISO, 'coz when I use a cdvd plugin to load from an actual drive, the emu wants to load up the whole bios before the game. -_- Takes a much longer time to load that way than it does to make an image and load that. lol
I dunno about this, but I had a problem similar to this last week. But now its kind a fine. I checked up my harddrive for viruses and found Trojan in one of my folders. When I deleted it and defragmented my drive, it works fine.

I recommend you use Virtual Drive 7 or later, and load the CD onto the Virtual Drive. This Virtual Drive program is pretty cool too since, Virtual Drive images (also known as VCD's) are able to load on to Linuzappz CDVD ISO Plugin

Thats because,as i have noted in my guide, you use run->execute and not file->run cd
You can simply run the DVD of a game with P.E.op.S CDVD Driver1.2 or use a *.nrg with CDVDbin Driver 0.65 Plugin. ;)

This should work on your systems too (when you don't use linux) :D
