You see, I had the notorious FMV error on FF9 with the Dali Airship Scene, so I switched to EPSXe 1.7.0 but when I go to load a file it shows none there, any help?

is this a memory card save or a save state you are talking about?

It is a savestate, but I also have memorycard saves.

have you configured the directory paths to the folders that contain the files correctly?

set the memory card file directory path in the GUI, do config>memory cards>slot# file path (you can type it manually or browse for it and find it that way). you should be able to just copy/paste save state files into 1.7.0's save state directory, but make sure you get your memory cards set up and working first before doing anything with save states.
