I got an Datel Action Replay Max Evo with 16MB USB Pen Drive for Christmas and I downloaded the latest codes update and save them onto my official Sony PS2 memory card. However, later on, it turned into a bunch of corrupted files. I deleted all the corrupted blocks, however, it didn't give me my space back; I then deleted all blocks from my official 8MB Sony PS2 memory card and was left with 4,325KB left. WTF? Can I reformat my memory card? Is that possible? What should I do? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance! :)

I used Action Replay to delete all the files of my memory card and when I go to the default PS2 menu I don't see anything about formatting it. Where is the option?

Well you can try by turning on a game then with the memory card installed while system is on take the memory card out, that should completely delete any data on it,that has worked for me.

from what i remember, there isn't an easy way to do a hard format of a memcard. there are some games that have the option, (gt3 possibly?), and i think some of the gs/ar discs also included the option. if you can boot homebrew code, there are tools out there that you can use as well..
i heard that the new viewtiful joe 2 demo on the 2004 holiday demo disc wipes your card as well..

It dosent even show a little blue box with the title "Corrupted Data"? In MGS2 after taking pictures with the digital camera, the photos showed up as that. So maybe it wasnt corrupt, just the data without a name etc? Can you just delete the corrupted blocks via the ps2's browser?
