Before I start, I'd like to say...I just got this wireless router Actiontec (GT724-WG) about two days ago. Now before, I had a wired connection and ZSNES/SNES9k etc worked on there. Now, it does not work on this wireless router. I've tried ZSNES 1.42 and SNES9k, and I've tried the Kaillera client too, and ZSNES and SNES9k do not work at all..the Kaillera client for SNES9k works, but my friend and I get desynced instantly.

I've let both emulators through my firewall and I still can't connect, yet my other router that gives me a wired connection (Which I have to give back to the company in around a week and a half or else they'll start charging me more money) works perfectly fine. I've searched online and all I found was someone else asking the same question yet, no one answered him. I really don't understand why this stupid thing won't allow online play. My friend has wireless as well, and I was using a wired connection before. Now that I have wireless, it doesn't work...

I don't know what to do. I wanted to try making a port for ZSNES and Kaillera through my router's control panel, but quite frankly, that's really difficult and even with the guides (which all assume you already know mostly what to do) that don't help. Can anyone help me figure out what to do? My wireless connection works with my Wii, but not my emulators...so I'm not sure what's going on.

I see... Well that confirms one of the problems. I was trying to do port forwarding before, but I can't really can't figure out how to do it exactly. I did a lot of research but nothing seems to help. If possible, I'd like to forward a port for ZSNES and the Kaillera client so that my wireless modem does not completely destroy my online playing. ._.

Thanks a lot! I got ZSNES to work, and now I am going to work on SNES9k real quick, which should be as simple as it was to get ZSNES to work..as the port number is right on the emulator. Now I just have to find the Kaillera client's port number and I'll be all set. < :

Found it, I think...
