I've been trying to find a few games I want locally but doesn't look like that's going to happen. It's a long trip and selection is horrible usually. I've never actually bought a game online. Can anyone tell any good sites for this that ship/sell to Canada?

Amazon? ...Or other companies like that possibly doing business in canada, which would make the shipping cheaper. You could also ask your friends if they know any sites you could trust... Like places they've bought from and got what they ordered and not a brick and bill!

That's partially the problem. I can't order it locally they tell me they won't do it. "What we have is what we sell, we don't take orders." Amazon.ca doesn't carry some titles I'm looking for either, only Amazon.com does.

You can buy a few PS3 games off the PSN as well, but obviously, they're not physical copies.
One of the games I want is on xbox live but not PSN... :( GOTY Oblivion.

Oblivion?

Oblivion is best played on the PC where you can spend hours if not days modding it to your heart's content. The PS3 version is a waste of your hard-earned money.

You can always turn down the quality.

Oblivion without mods defeats the purpose of even playing the game. That is to say that "stock" Oblivion sucks. Despite the game's age, I still play it in regular intervals thanks to mods.

Not at all. It's just that in hindsight, I would have been done with Oblivion long ago (after first playthrough) if it weren't for the mods. And just a heads up: I began playing and modding Oblivion on my laptop, which requires some quality adjustments to play Oblivion at 60fps.

I'd rather be kicked in the balls than play it without the mods... Heck, I wouldn't play it even with the mods anymore.

I still think that pic shows the main reason why I hate that game... But even with the mods the game is just plain boring, going to caves killing trolls, going to ruins killing trolls, going to fields killing trolls, going to caves killing goblins, goin to ruins killing skeletons, going to fields killing minotaurs. And that's the mages, fighters and thieves guild in short...

True enough. Most of you have played the hell out of it. I haven't had that available. I like those kinds of games. I didn't use mods on Morrowind and enjoyed it. Plus... it's a lot better then Fallout 3. GOTY version comes with some extras and expansions so I'm sure I'll get some enjoyment for a while. Just name some good places to get games in Canada and I'll be happy. Don't need to hear about how you playing it for 5000 hours somehow equates to me.

Thanks I'll take a look.

Pretty expensive... I guess its better for the rare games. Still good to know. Most places I'd check say they deal with Canada then when you go to check out something gives an error. Then you receive a private message saying we don't do business with Canada at this time, sorry for the inconvenience.

Play asia adds 20$ to import games...........
take FFXIII jap ps3 version as an example

it costs 94.90 (pre-order US$ 89.90), converting 9240 yen = 102 USD

so?

all jap games that i bought had the regular $5 basis...

I'm not sure what your trying to say there, but I know a new non imported release at amazon would cost 60$ while a new imported game on play asia would cost 80-90$. This is by ps3/360 standards by the way.

you said that playasia adds 20$ to import games, and it's not true, they add only $5, at least for me... when i say import i mean, jap/asia games not north american ones... usa games are 64,90 ($59,90 + $5) while japanese ones as i showed to you, adds $5 too.
