Ok, let me start off with a proper introduction, because that last one was s***.

Objective:
1.) Create a solid texture rendering effect that can give textures an erroded bumpy look in real time without any additional memory or textures.
2.) Create a texture bump effect that will be compatiable with older video hardware through commonly used API extensions.
3.) Create a bump effect that can be easily duplicated in more than one rendering API.

Status:
- Success. I'm 75% satisified with what I have done so far.

Extra overhead:
- Requires 5 texture passes per solid textured primitive or 4 without the extra high pass bump filter.

I'm already excited enough thinking about how this can be applied to other rendering processes :)

Nice work, NickK! Although designing it with the older cards in mind is a noble cause, I think you may be limiting yourself when it isn't really necessary. I doubt many people have ATI Rage 128s... just something to consider :)
