ok first the game freezes from time to time, it runs slow in town and sometime theirs a period of extreme slow and skipping (last about 5 minutes) then after it's normal again... here is my configs my system spec are in Sig.

Pete's OpenGL Driver 1.55:

desktop Resolution 1024 x 768 Color Depth 32 bit
texture quality: R8 G8 B8 A8-Best Color, More Ram Needed
Filtering: #6
Caching type: #2
Use FPS Limit ON
Auto-detect FPS/Frame skipping limit
Off-screen drawing:#3
Framebuffer textures:#1
Alpha MultiPass ON
Mask bit ON
Advanced blending ON
Unfiltered Framebuffer updates ON
Color Dithering ON
scanline Brightness-170

Pete's DSound Audio Driver 1.12:
Enable Sound ON
Enable CDDA Sound ON
Enable XA sound ON
Enable XA read ON

Volume: Loud
Enable XA playing ON
Change XA speed, if it is played too fast (more CPU power needed)

High Compatibility mode (time Event,Slower)

and it runs in a ISO file...

P.S. anything i didn't put is OFF

please help me i just loss 2 hours of gameplay cause it froze...

Well I typed it up on IRC .. but not sure if you are just idling :p

First tip .. best not to use auto detect for the fps ... just set it to 60 FPS. Also using frameskipping will do you wonders. Next the resolution you are using might be too much for either the card or the game .. bring it down to 800x600 and give it a go and see if you still experience the slowdowns. Also make sure you are not setting your settings too high ... best to start with low settings and work your way up with experimenting with it.

I dunno about your problem, but the game works great for me with:

Hey, did you ever find out how to get the sound effects (Dragon transform scream etc.) working?

The only thing I have found out is that all the sounds that are cut short after half a sec. is XA sound (according to PSMPlay). This includes the sounds played during dragon breath attacks, summoning, and getting the dragon summons.

Cant get it to work for the life of me...
