You can't assign a button, you need a propper mic/headset or you need to play around with a propgram called Audacity (somehow rerouting the audio being played to audio in through the program, but the exact details were lost when the thread describing it was suddenly deleted by it's creator.

All Im gonna say is: "FREE Hi-Q Recorder" ; it does the same trick. ;)

An option would be configuring Windows to record audio from a "Stereo Mix" or "What-U-Hear" source. Then whatever is played to the speakers is used as input for NO$GBA's virtual microphone.

No. All will require either a propper mic/headset or the tricks mentioned, although I am not sure how far their mic support actually is, it might be even less than no$gba.
