Can anyone tell me what the key strokes would be to Load a game for Kingdom Hearts? Since the text isn't showing up at all, I can't really navigate. Screenshots of a visible menu would also be helpful! Thanks!

if you have a save on your memcard simply wait for the menu to fade in (you can tell by the pic) press

down
x
x
x

that should load the save off your memcard, make sure you are in interpreter mode as its unreliable in Recompiler.

My save must not be working, because the game never loads. It doesn't freeze, it just apparently won't find a game save, even though I checked in the bios and it's there - at the first save point near the shack. I followed the "gamefaq" guide perfectly. Is there a guide for properly selecting/configuring the PCX2's memory cards?

You can use recompiler if you are using a save. It doesn't matter, and is faster.
But don't use VUrecs, they mess the graphics.

To load a save the best way is to use PEOPS SPU2 plugin. And 'hear' the menu. You can hear if the save works or not. And sound is full compatible with this game. So don't worry about patches ;).

About the keys, Down till you hear, and X X X.
To know if you have enter in the save menu, you can see thre fps going up to 30fps is a good trick.

Hope this helps.

Thanks for those tips. I'm getting that short buzz sound it makes when something's not available, so I guess the save wasn't compatible or something. I'll try transfering another. BTW - what is the best save point for testing in-game?
