what does the log say?

make sure the bios and the plugins are in the correct folders and you have to manually set up their pathes.
you can test the video plugin by clicking the "test" button. the CDROM plugin should configured to the correct cdrom drive.

What game(s) are you trying? Have you tried running one from an ISO? Are they NTSC or PAL? I am guessing this is a CD-ROM plugin issue. Try using PEOPS CDR plugin for PAL or NTSC games (turn on subchannel reading for PAL), using the IOCTL (WNT/W2K) plugin for any non-protected games, or install an ASPI layer (google for Force ASPI) and use the ASPI plugin. If you are using the ASPI plugin and do not have an ASPI layer installed, that would most likely be the problem.

but FF7 disc 2 and 3, and Clock Tower aren't :(
I have the blackscreen trouble, i think I know this issue, the best way to make isos of games is CloneCD (i have a bunch of isos made with UltraISO but none of them works.. but the ones I do with CC works well)
