Hi, I'm a complete newbie, so bear with me.

I only have one game so far, Spyro 2, and I'm trying everything I can to get it to work. I have downloaded all the recommended plug-ins, configured every way I can think of, got DAEMON tools, tried that, cdmooby told me to rename the iso to bin, tried that, tried Delta, and epsxecutor, read through help and the forums, I'm stuck, please help.

Running:
AMD 64 3ghz
via/s3g unichrome II graphics
realtek ac'97 audio for VIA
win 2k pro

using epsxe 1.6 and all the latest versions of the following:
tried both bios 1001, 7502
tried 6 gfx plugins, inc. petes d3d
tried 4 spu plugins, inc. eternal and peops
tried 2 cd plugins

also tried to configure the plugins according to recommendations found on the web. So I don't know what's going on. All I get, no matter what, is a black screen. Someone please help me!

Either way, try running it directly from the cd.

I suggest using the nice option using the P.E.Op.S Software Plugin.

Just tried both suggestions. No change, still get a black screen. Forgot to mention I'm using 512mb ram.

Any other suggestions?

It was labeled NTSC, but I will try what you suggested anyway.

Just did a search on my graphics card, it appears to suck, do you think that's the problem? Anything I can do to work around or fix it? I just upgraded my motherboard recently, and I have an old 3dfx voodoo 3 card from the old system, would that work?

Yes, I've tried all the suggestions except for the one about making an sbi file. Hmmm. I'm working on getting some other games to try and then I will try the psxeven emulator. Thanks for the suggestions. Have any others?
