I'm having the same problem, and yes I have read the FAQ, I have gone to the chat and taken advice. I've even cleaned all the ePSXe stuff from my registry and started 100% fresh. I'm running Windows XP SP2. What's really weird is that when I first installed everything was working great. Then I exited a game to go play another and got a black screen. Ever since all I've gotten was that black screen for every game (including the one that originally worked). If you're curious, I've tried using .iso files for Lunar, Legend of Mana, Xenogears, and both Gundam Battle Assaults and the actual CD-ROM for Legend of Dragoon. I'm not sure what's left to do... So... Any advice? Oh, right... I also have used both versions of Pete's plugins for video and also tried his sound plugin. Only thing I have yet to change is the built-in CD reader or whatever.

if you have read over FAQs beforehand it is preferable to state that you have done so in your initial post or question, that way you do not keep getting redirected to common suggestions or basic troubleshooting steps that you have already tried.

as for your problem, can you get the BIOS to run? if that is not working either can you enable the logger and check for any problems it may be detecting?
