well when i try to run twisted metal 4, i get a black screen and the thing doesn't do anything else, it just stays on that black screen.

i tried the 3 video plugins but still no work, epsxe doesn't crash though, as i can still hit esc button and be able to exit epsxe.

specs amd 2800+, 1gb ram, radeon 9500 pro...and epsxe 1.6

are you playing off CD or ISO? are your videocard drivers updated?

off an iso made from a cd.(used nero .nrg for it) videocard drivers are updated

well, i now got it to work, i changed the .nrg file to a .iso file with isobuster and now it works., there's some missing sound but its not so bad.

ew Nero sucks, make an ISO with ISO Producer or Alcohol 120% or ISObuster or copy the 1s and 0s from the CD by hand do anything DONT USE NERO IT SUCKS WHY DIDNT I USE ANY PUNCTUATION PROBABLY BECAUSE I HATE NERO'S ISO MAKING FUNCTION SO MUCHHHHHHHHHH

one thing i really hate is someone's problems coming at such a low level, i dont know how to describe it but examples are a pirated ISO, or an ISO made with Nero. it's such an easily avoided problem....
