You can find tutorials on the web on how to do this. Do a google search.

you need to be able to boot homebrew code. this is a relatively difficult task to accomplish, especially if you dont know what you are doing and the ps2 is not modified. you will also need your computer connected to the ps2 in some way. one way is to network it through the ethernet adapter, which can be a challenge within itself depending on how you go about it.

Modchip, Boot Code Covered
PS2Link, Transfer files via network adapater, Covered

The actual code I need to run, Cant compile. Ps2dev has hosed my cygwin, cygwin wont compile dumpbios, I havent a clue on how to turn it into a elf i can use. The only credible tutorials out there involve the expensive and hard to find usb cable.

Setting Curent Directory to C:\inlink\.
Executing Elf host:C:\inlink\pukko.elf...
loadelf: fname host:C:\inlink\pukko.elf secname all
Input ELF format filename = host:C:\inlink\pukko.elf
0 00400000 00005d34 .
Loaded, host:C:\inlink\pukko.elf
start address 0x400570
gp address 00000000
open name host:/tmp/bios.bin flag 602 data 41378
[FILE] : Cannot Open tmp/bios.bin #0
open fd = -1

maybe its because im not using *nix*. I could try setting my nix/firewall as the gateway and seeing if it writes then.

now Xlink client supports dumping memory and registers. Any chance of using that instead to dump the bios?
