Recently I started to play with some psx utilities and look what I've found... Those are the files compressed to *.TIM extansion and apperently are leftovers of the original BioHazard 2 (called 1.5 or the prototype). Does anyone know how I can rip/view *.PIX files?

Just use the simple programme called PSicture-101 that enables You to view and rip *.TIM files and start searching for them on Your Playstation game CD's or Isoz (mounted via Daeomn tools or another virtual cd unit). Some of them hoewer cannot be ripped but You can easily use print screen. From Resident Evil games You can find various images from title screens, "you died" screens to ingame files with the japanese and/or english texts. As for the unknown *.PIX files (atleast by me:p) they cannot be opened by any psx utilities as far as I know... There are also *.BSS files containing the room data in BH Trial Version that I cannot open either :/. Supousely we could find some rooms that were present in Biohazard 1.5 and we could "warp" there using gameshark codes.

Look what I found opening the *.DO2 files from the BH Trial Version disc. Could someone translate those japanese texts? As for those 2 doors without any signs were there ever used in the final version of BH2?

hard to tell... because it was loong time ago, that I enjoyed BH2... but I think they were use... (police HQ, that big hall, when you first enter it in leon scenario 1 for example - turn right there probably were those blue doors)

I remember the whole "Phantom Gate" thing on Resident Evil 2. With one of those cheat things you could go through the front gate of the police station (as seen in Resident Evil 3) and there was a bit after that.

I saw the "advert" for Resident Evil 1.5. It looked pretty cool. Just another lost game though.

The better question is, where did you find this thread... Its almost 4 years old!oO

And don't keep your hopes up for the answer, Vejita666 hasn't been online since 2006....

Heck, even Industrian was still active back then. I miss the dude's comments here.

Latinzilla, I'd have left open your thread if it at least were a normal question, simply because it would be counterproductive to let you open a new one. However, we do not support the downloading of copyrighted material in any kind, even if it is a disc as rare and special as this, it is simply illegal. For this reason I shall lock this thread, and I hope that you will take the time to read through the [rules]rules[/rules] to prevent future actions that may be frowned upon. Like Radix said, reviving such old threads is rather pointless, especially since many users aren't online anymore.
