Possible Remedies

Have you tried it with other games? Is this something that only affects Shining Tears? Have you double-checked the plugin settings? If so...

Maybe the game uses the analog stick instead of the D-pad? That was something I ran into a while ago. I don't know how to fix it, I just gave up after a while. If that is the problem, maybe someone else can help you out.

Have you read Bositman`s configuration guide? It says there that you can use the mouse as an analog controller. If you want to move the left analog controller, then press and hold the left mouse button and then move the mouse in the direction you want.
