Switch boxes do exist for composite to VGA. Places like Ebay should have lots of those floating around.

P.S.
Why not just use PCSX2? Your computer can easily run it, no?

FFX and FFXII run quite well last I toyed around with PCSX2. I remember there being a thread about how to set up PCSX2 to run FFXII well.
