wow, it s the first time i see someone w/ a kyro.

I really dunno which plugin u should use.
There are pete s plugins (the best w/ nvidia cards) u should try.
But to tell the truth, u should try all the hw accelerated plugin, pete DX6 D3D, pete dx7 d3d and pete s OGL...(version 1.51)
Tell which game(s) u are trying to play and which are slow, fast ..etc
If u don t mind ;) thx

BTW, i could post some pete plugin configuration. That depends of the game

Bye

Do you have any lock up problems with your kyro 4500 when using direct3d plugins? I can play a game for from like 15 secs to 5 min before it freezes. I thought it was just petes d3d plugins locking up but even segu's d3d plugin locks up. openGL plugins never lock up but are 1/3 as fast as the d3d making most games unplayable. I know the lockup and speed problems are kyro related since i used to have a tnt2 and it never locked up with epsxe. I've tried fooling around with all the settings and have had no luck with fixing the problem. If anyone with a kyro knows how to prevent it from locking in d3d please help me cause playing psx games at 20 fps just isn't cool. thanks in advance

no problems with my kyro...now everything works fine...but i can't save my game...use always the newest drivers...maybe you use agp x4 for kyro? that' s wrong...use agp x2...otherwise send a mail to kyro support...they are very friendly (in germany)

to save your game make sure that you have a memcard selected in the epsxe config menu. If you have done that and still get problems then try pressing F4 before you save(you may have to wait a few seconds for epsxe to find your memcard).

Also you can use savestates. There are 5 available savestates per PSX game. press F1 to save a state to the active slot. press F2 to switch to the next slot(up to 5). press F3 to load from the active slot. In epsxe 1.40 you will see a pic in the upper right corner of a previously saved state when you are switching through them with F2.
Good luck.
