Hi all, I'm new to PS2 emulation but not to emulation in general, and I'm wondering what is the best image format to dump my game discs into? I've always run from images on my HDD as I find it to be faster and more reliable than running from the CD/DVD directly.

Also do PS2 discs have subchannel data? I had to dump my PS1 discs in clonecd format to get the subchannel data to come out right.

Thanks!

Indeed. ImgBurn is free and more than enough for making Isos.

No, They don't have subchannel files, and of course you don't need these files to make the emu plays the background music.
