Best drivers for a GeForce4 Ti 4600?

Hi ,

Can anyone recommend the best drivers to use with a GeForce4 Ti 4600.
I'm having trouble with some games using the 7x.xx ones.
Metal Gear Solid 2 in game is completly dark/black and XIII is randomly crashing reporting D3d8 errors.
I have no issue with these games using 45.23 (Whql) , but they're quite old now.
Any suggestion ?

Thanks :)

That is a fairly old card - using the older drivers that don't give you problems is your best bet. The very newest drivers don't really do much for your card, so using the older ones that work well for emulation isn't going to hurt performance or anything.
I would update MGS2 with the 1.02 patch, and then try one of the last versions of the detonator drivers. Maybe the 44.90's.

i would suggest you use , Xtreme -G 76.81 drivers from www.guru3d.com i using them drivers now and there working great for me and also set ur settings on ur card to high performance. and if u can try to oc it. that will help u for a while til u can upgrade.

and new drivers will have bug fixes in them that the older ones may not have.
Well after trying a bit of everything it seems i can't use anything above the 61.82 or MGS2 and XIII will be broken (with their respective update patches applied or not).
For now i'll stick with the Omega Drivers 1.5672a which seems to work best for me.
Thanks people for your suggestions. :)
I've been using the 53.03 for a long while now with my Ti 4600.
I'd recommand those to you. No problems in MGS2 either with this version.

Plus you canuse Very High X&Y res in Pete's OGL2 plugin for ePSXe :)
