Look, the problem is simple:

I have a celeron 400 (no overclocking done), 192 meg RAM, some kind of onboard sound, and a Voodoo 3 3000 PCI (overclocked to 198mhz). I used to have the x3dfx (available at www.x3dfx.com)newest drivers installed, but I still got slow FPS with Lewpy's plugin, but D3D with Pete's 1.49 DX7 plugin was WAY faster. I tried switching back to the newest "official" version, but its still slower! If there's anyone with a Voodoo3 3000 out there and are getting faster FPS with Glide than in D3D, please reply! Actually, if anyone has any idea WHAT is happening, feel free to drop a line!!! :emb:

try not overclocking your voodoo 3 and check your motherboard bios and check for ram settings and cd rom settings..... Usually, glide runs way faster on voodoos than d3d... Well, mines did anyways... It could just be the game you are running.... some games work better with petes d3d than with lewpy's glide and some games are vice versa... Tekken 3 runs way faster with glide on a voodoo 3 than with d3d......

Glide's usually a *lot* faster for me. I'm using the latest Win2K Certified Drivers (1.03).
