background music problem

I am using .bin files i ripped from my cds using cdrwin, but the background music tracks don't work for any of the games. Is there a way to enable it without using the actual cd?

would that have anything to do with .bin files or isos? All music effects play fine, it's just the background music (the cd audio tracks) does not.

Its about the audio tracks in the CD, that are recorded separately from the data. Try some tool to mount the iso like a virtual CD unit (daemon tools, or alcohol 52% - 120%)
I thought about doing that, but I'm trying to load a lot of my games onto one emulation box. Is there really no other to do this outside of mounting the isos?

It seems strange to me that Epsxe or PSXeven can't figure this out without having to pretend its the actual game in my drive. Its not like the iso is missing any information that the cd would have.

and thanks for the input all.
actualy mobys plugin is 'running' CD images (too lazy to read description or what :nono: ? ;)

and when I was talking about sound config... it should be configured like this (not acutally the plugin, but options that are below)
ok.. i think the problem is just the particular game i was trying. I just can't get the music to play for Ridge Racer Revolution, but others seem to be working ok. Danke
