Picked up a neat little mp3 player off amazon.com, the Samsung YP-T5X. Only $110, so it blew away the iPod Shuffle I was considering. I'm no audiophile, but this thing sounds great! The earbuds that come with the player are also good quality and combined they provide a rich, full sound.
It has a ton of great features. The biggest one, IMO, is the real, honest-to-goodness drag and drop file transfer. All the reviewers of other mp3 players complained about having to install software, but not with this one. Another cool thing is the ability to record FM radio into mp3 files. It also records mp3 files via the built in mic. It's easy to organize your songs(which it can hold about 80-100) of through windows.
One of the best things about the Yepp is that it is very small! It's about a quarters width in diameter, and 2 inches long.
Comparing this to the 512 iPod Shuffle, for $10 more dollars, you get drag-and-drop(my teacher was telling me about some crap about setting a certain amount of space for data on a shuffle, pfffft), FM radio(plus recording), mp3 mic encoding, many more options for bass/treble, and maybe most importantly, A SCREEN(which can be backlit by 7 different colors).
So, if you are looking for an mp3 player that is flash based, look cool, sounds great, and is packed with features, then the Samsung YP-T5X is for you. Even if your budget is $100, I'd say spend the extra $10, it's worth it.
I'll try and find the link to the product.
