Well... I ended up trying amarok and I can say I quite liked its interface. However, I have the following problem
I am running amarok from gnome, and normally I have no problem when running files from my laptop. However, when trying to play the windows share files from my pc the programs hangs up without outputting any any kind of error. I have tried running it from a KDE environment and it doesn't display such problem. (I've checked the output it gives in Gnome's and Kde's console and it doesn't give any differences... it just seems to hang up) Is there any gnome-kde lib I need to install for it to run properly under GNOME?
Also, I guess it is only natural, but performance under GNOME has quite a noticeable drop (everything seems a little laggish). I guess I will have to live with it, but is ther anyway to improve performance of amarok(any KDE app) under GNOME. (Dunno, a mapper of kdelibs functions to gnomelibs ones or something... highly improbable I know but there is no harm in asking

)
