Anyone have an opinion on the radeon x800gto from ati? Need a new graphics card that dont cost an arm and a leg. How long do you think this one will last before becoming obsolete?

It's a pretty decent card for it's price. I have an X800XL myself and it's pretty damn good. I had a 9800 Pro before that.

get a sapphire x800 gto2, unlock the extra 4 pipes, and overclock it.... pretty much a 100% success rate on those. instant x850 xt pe

the gto2's are great cards, the gto's aren't moddable however. it's worht the extra outlay on a gto2, but if your in the uk you cay pay an extra £7 or so and getty a fully bonafide x850xt and keep your warrenty (which modding the bios invalidates).
