Pretty exciting for a card like this to get a very good score in 3Dmark 2005.

Here is the link Click here! for the site, So all you people interested in getting a nvidia SLI setup, dont bother.. This is the reason why i did not get 2 cards to run in SLI mode, this single card has beaten them both.. and not by a bit.. by a few thousand points :D

The grammar is bad on the page since its been translated, you can make out alot of it though

Not a real benchmark.. proven fake. You can make out "Nvidia GeForce 6800 Series GPU" in the blurred text.

3dmark05 is way too geometry intensive. And it doesnt draw any real conclusion to game direction. Game Devs are going for fillrate when they considering game quality right now. The reason for this is simple. Fillrate is much easier to code for the lowest common denominator as you can always turn down resolution/lesson speculiar affects.

If you cripple your performance with geometry. Its harder to scale because you have to create a model for each setting. So most companies stick to marginally low polygon setups. Until we start seeing some low end cards with any real geometry processing capabilities. This is just the direction its going.
