After 2 years it's finally back online? Only problem is that I get an error saying "The administrator has disabled games for your usergroup" whenever I click on any of the games. Strangely enough, I can create a tournament oO

So what's the deal here? Shouldn't a change like this be made more open with a thread in the announcement section? Or did it just become viewable to users by accident or something lol

Thanks.

Did you confirm with another award winner? The translators/junior contributors group might be to blame as well.

Pretty much :p Many people are unanimous in agreeing with this proposal. As Squall said previously, the old forum whores are long gone so I don't think they'd mind the scores being reset. Plus it's hard to actually have a fun-time competing with present-day members since any score you make gets buried amidst hundreds of old scores from 3 years back.

Not that I personally care either way, but from a neutral standpoint, why should the old scores get erased just because they're old? Get out there and beat them. If they're that good, they deserve to stay atop the perch, so to speak. They shouldn't be dashed just because they're gone, and a few current members want to fight to have the top score. Those members already earned their place. Everyone else should have to too.

Again, I don't personally care, and from what you're saying, a possible poll would make it go far the other way, but for neutrality sake, I don't see why the scores should be reset.

I agree, just because one cannot make a high score does not mean the highest score be deleted.

I'm not talking about you GF don't feel bad :( I also wanted the old scores removed but we all have to appreciate the old members skill level

IMO, the main reason why I want them reset is cuz your score (regardless of whether its high or low) get buried amongst literally hundreds of old scores.

Anyway, if people are against this, then at least you could tidy up the scores a bit by keeping just 1 score per person per game. I've noticed that older members have numerous scores of one game which makes the score-card untidy. Their highest score alone is enough (just doing this will decrease the number of entries for each game by at least 400%!)

Not to mention a couple of games for who scoring hasn't been logged from the very beginning. Deleting those would definitely help.
