i recently picked up an ipod remote for my ipod. ive noticed two weird things when using this that i think are either design oversights or smthn is wrong with my ipod.
when plugged in with the remote control:
1. the backlight will light up even if i control the ipod with the remote. this wastes batterires and is apparently pointless since if ur using the remote, u wudnt be looking at the ipod ...
2. the remote triggers the clicking noise of the ipod. again...pointless if its in your bag...
i am aware that i can turn these things off globally but i was wondering if there is something wrong with my ipod or if theres a separate place where i can set the separate settings for when a remote is used O___o
