this game utilizes both of the analog control sticks on a psx controller so unless u use a proper psx pad via a usb/paralell adapter then it wont work properlly.
It sounds to me as if u r using a controller with only 1 analog controller on it.....

It works fine on epsxe but u must use a dual analog controller to play it.
It says this on the box and on the title screen of the game.
It wont matter what emulator u use as u will still have the same problem.You cant even play this game on a real psx unless u have a dual analog controller....
