Actually, it's the client that I use at the moment. Very nice.
Do you have any likes/dislikes of g3torrent over any other bittorent client? I currently use ABC and it works fine, but has not updated resently.

has anyone had any experience using this bittorrent client before? is it faster than azureus or do you have any other sugestions of BT clients
I've use G3 before and I can say that it is a nice BT client. It has a lot of cool feature such as full control of how much data did you want to seed and how the client control BT connection in and out of your PC.

My other suggestion of BT client is Bitcomet because that is what I'm using right now (In WinXP, I use Azureus in Linux) :)

That true. Users can choose not to upload when using G3. This is hurting the performance of Bit Torrent network. Personally, I think it isn't fair to download without upload to others.
Well, most of the stuff is "unfair" to be downloading anyway... (illegal stuff!)
I mean really... if you want speed... buy whatever you are trying to download!
BitTorrent sucks anyway, to unreliable.

I have problems with Azureus about memory leaks when I kept it running for a long time...not saying that you have these problems also

Bittorrent unreliable? oO I think its most reliable P2P network so far if you know what and where to search, and very fast aswell.

That is quite small cheat, cuz there are clients that can send faked upload info to websites that have download/upload ratio requirements.

It's important to remember that download rate is proportional to upload rate. And BitTorrent is about the most reliable P2P application I've used. Usually provides decent speeds of around 30-60KB/s.

I also use BitTornado, just small easy to use, nothing special...just what you need....and if you are going to download don't set your share to 0..I can understand not sharing the full 1 all th time, but give a decent amount back from what you gave...

It's kinda annoying. I set my up on both eMule and ABC (latest test build) to 10k, as I'm limited to 25k up, and I need some upload for browsing. With those settings, I'm easily able to max out my download (60k) with each program individualy

Looks awesome, though I like abc it is missing the ability to download specific items from a torrent.
