Whenever i go to play gran turismo 2 the game freezes right after it says to wear your seatbelt and right before the mem card chack, the game turns black and it doesnt load, but my fps still fluctuates, it just wont load anymore, anyone have this prob?

Hum... 90% of the problems with memory cards are solved by pressing F4. Try it.

If you haven't already, enable accurate CDROM timing in the CDROM configuration window.
