hp 57 cartridges cost 30 bucks each :( ive been looking at refill kits that say they will be able to refill carts 10 times. so has anyone tried it? how is the quality of the pictures after u refill, is it hard? anything i should know?

Depends, I tried it once and it was a pain the ass. You're best to go to a mall and find a little store that refils them for you. Its much cheaper, and you know it will get done right. Overall its just tricky to get thoes refill kits to work right.

well i found a site that sells refill kits and recycled cartridges for half the price of retail ones.

would love to find a little store around here that refilled cartridges. but i dont think ill be able to find one :(

be careful

There was an article in PC Magazine a few years ago about this and there advice is to be careful where u get those "recycled" carts from. With most companies it will void your warranty if you use another brand cart or refill kit.

Also the ink they use in the refill isn't always the right size of ink. so it may leak out and damage your printer. check the stuff out first and you should be fine. It may save you a lot of money, but your printer may ef up, I guess in the end you might have the same amount of money either way.

instead of refill kits buy carts that have been refilled for you. they do a more professional job cleanin it up and stuff and works like a new one
